Fundraising Fun

CARWASH 1Global Leadership Academy's drama and sports stars took to Caltex Wavelands on Saturday 23rd February 2013 for a day of car washing. This was held in aid of the tour coming up in the near future. No less than eight participants, including one teacher, have been selected to represent the Eastern Cape at the upcoming South Africa Championships of Performing Arts in Rustenburg this April.

With nearly R3000 per person to raise all attempts are being made to get our students there! Along with them are a very eager bunch of sport fanatics taking to the roads in March for a sport tour. The students involved are eagerly preparing on and off the field to make this is a tour to remember. They will be representing GLA in cricket, junior and senior netball as well as tennis and squash. We look forward to fantastic results from both groups. If you would like to contribute to any of the students in need of financial support please do not hesitate to contact the school!
